AMAZING VIDEO of a pair of outlaw tower climbers climbing the Shanghai Tower, the worlds second highest tower, from the street and up into and through the clouds until they get 650 meters off the ground.
The rest of the skyscrapers remain far below with their tops pointing straight up through the clouds like hungry children holding their hands up and open hoping to catch a dropped morsel. Check out what the guy does at the 5:00 mark and be ready to vomit all over your tablet. Its sickenly frightening and I am not even all that scared of heights. (video at link)
Vodka...lots of vodka.
Crane operator sees almost that every day on the job!
“Asians, on average, have a large brain capacity and higher IQ than whites, yet we have an adventurous outlook they often lack.”
I have found that Asians are not necessarily more intelligent. It is the work ethic that drives them. They are raised from birth to “work”.
A few hundred years ago these types would be signing up for explorations
Maybe you are right about Russians being more dare-devil. We have a family friend who is 13. He is adopted from Russia. He has been doing crazy things on his scooter since he was 5. There has been a movement to make scooter tricks a real sport, like skateboarding. So, he got interested in that and took lessons from a “master” of the sport. He out-performed the guy after a few weeks and got bored and quit. He’s now the pitcher on his Little League team.
He gets injured from time to time, but shrugs it off.
As scary as that was, they were walking on walkways and holding handrails that the construction workers use as a normal part of construction.
I thought they were going to swing on the cable. Then I would have vomited.
“I thought they were going to swing on the cable.”
THAT would have been great!
sick
He sounds like a fairly typical boy, of the 1960s and 1950s.
