Well it IS total crap. While it would be devastating, Scientists have known for awhile that the largest possible quake in CA (primarily San Andreas) is around 8.0. Only Alaska in the U.S. is even capable of a 9.0.

Listen to the scientist, not the “I can puts up a video” crowd.

Not exactly...

The Cascadia Subduction Zone, off the coast of Washington and Oregon, is quite capable of generating a 9.0. In fact, seismologists have predicted that someday there will be what they call a "Full 9 Rip" from the CSZ. In 1700, the CSZ DID drop a 9.0 estimated quake, based on historical records in Japan and local native American stories.

The CSZ is exactly the same type of fault that the 2011 Great Tohoku Quake in Japan is....and that was a 9.0.

Can't trust "scientists" on warming, why trust 'em on quakes? What kind of grants are they seeking?
