Getting ads isn't an option. As for the software, I find the interface very user friendly and very customizable with a little knowledge of HTML.

It's like the Drudge Report. No nonsense, no clutter and all about the content.

The “ancient software” is one of many reasons I am here. It is the fastest, easiest to use conservative site on the web. Some sites are SO bad now they won’t ever finish loading. Scrolling with my iPad is all but up impossible what with lags, jerky motion and accidental clicks on the countless ads. Modern web design is horrendous in most cases. FR is rock solid, easy, fast and predictable.
