Not buying it. People always seem to have the money to eat out on a Friday night, watch cable TV or buy the latest tech gadgets.

I donated $20 yesterday. Not bragging about it. I probably should have given more. And I will give more as I've given in the past. But if everybody that comes here on a regular basis threw in maybe $5 a quarter ($20 a year), I don't think keeping the lights on would be much of a problem for Free Republic.

I totally agree with you, but I would hesitate to tell anyone that they are, or should be in that position.
