I’m reminded of the Waco DEA debacle daily. The tank used sits less than a quarter mile of my business in front of the American Legion Building.

I used to be a tanker. In the photos of the burning complex, that vehicle has a very short main gun and an overhead boom, which makes it a `CEV” or Combat Engineer Vehicle, used for breaching operations. IIRC they deployed the boom to push incendiaries through the flimsy walls & set the whole place alight.
Simply arresting David Koresh on one of his downtown jaunts might have prevented the massacre.
