I’m feeling kind of sick after seeing those prices. I sold a 6” blued Python for $500 (including a Bianchi shoulder holster) in the ‘80s. One of only three firearms I have ever let go of.

It was a lot of fun to shoot too.

I have a neighbor that was getting rid of one, and asked if I wanted to buy it for $400.00. He didn’t know what it was or what it was worth. I checked the prices, and told him what the gun was worth before asking if he still wanted to sell if for that amount. He was thankful, and wound up giving it to one of his sons. Dang my conscience.

Back then you could get a 30 year tax free bond at over 10%.

That would be over $8000 now.

I won’t ask what you did with the $500 ... you might feel even bluer!
