How much you want to spend on ammo?

I'm proficient at under 100 yards. Can pretty much hit whatever I'm pointing at with a rifle at that distance.

I disagree with the folks who believe I need to be sitting on thousands upon thousands of palletized rounds. When TSHTF, 5.56 and 7.62 NATO will be lying all over the place. There will be no shortage of ammo.

Eh, still don’t know how much you plan to spend on ammo. You need to budget for target practice. If you just want to buy a gun for $1600 and stick it in the safe and not practice, then buy anything.

And what exactly do you base this hypothesis on? What city/state/country did this ever happen in where ammo was lying around after TSHTF?
