At least, in the original cut of the movie, we got a long speech at the end by Rambo about how he got treated by the hippies and lefties when he came home (what right do they have to protest ME??) The last time I saw First Blood on network TV, they cut out that speech. Typical.

They decided to let him live when they considered the potential franchise.

I’m kind of half kidding, I enjoyed the movie like everyone else, because of the action, but...., but I do have very mixed feelings about it, and the actor.
