Technology moves on - it's the best way to get people to buy newer stuff.

A taptic engine that delivers haptic feedback? I feel titillated!

Awesome, but I will not buy a MB pro until they make it lose some weight. I know it will never weight as much as the new MacBook, but I want it to get lighter.

I’ll have to go try this out. I haven’t bought in to touch screens on a laptop; my current ASUS has that feature, and I almost never use it. Apple seems to have the trackpad technology nailed, so I am interested to see if this is an improvement.
BTW, how is the keyboard on the 13” MBP? That is a most important feature, and on my ASus laptop, the keyboard is abysmal.

There will be lots of options in December. I need an array of ports and a 15” display.

The hajib feedback blows you fingers off.

It’s actually quite a little development. Basically, it generates force feedback that gives the user the impression that a rigid surface like a trackpad actually has “give” and provides tactile sensation - you can even feel the “click” made by pressing on the trackpad.
They use the same tech in the watch to provide subtle taps on the wrist as part of its notifications.
A small step perhaps to advancing toward true “holodeck” functionality.

BTW, how is the keyboard on the 13 MBP? On mine (early 2014 retina model), it's pretty much identical to a full-size Mac keyboard.

It'll be interesting to see if the iPhone 6S and 6S+ get Force Touch functionality on the touchscreen when that arrives in late September 2015.

I need to buy a Macbook Pro quite soon, to be able to do computer graphics when away from home. I will equip it with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I think the 15" is way too heavy to carry in a backpack, so I'll be aiming for the 13" one.
I found this one locally. What about these specs?
Z0QN-MF8405Z0QN-MF8405 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7 (Broadwell) 16GB of Onboard 1866 MHz LPDDR3 RAM 256GB PCIe-Based Flash Storage Integrated Intel Iris Graphics 6100
Any other things I should be looking to have in this Macbook?
