Eh. No worse than being forced to buy a PC with the ‘doze OS pre-installed and reconfiguring it to run a ‘nix distro instead. Just interesting to view the comparisons on identical (actually, the exact same machine) platforms.

No, they could be like me, getting their cake and eating it too! I've owned Macs since 1989. I use Windows at work. My second job is teaching MS Office, which I do from my MacBook using VMWare Fusion and Windows.

Half my students now have Mac, so I can seamlessly go back and forth between the two systems. This is why I went with VMWare instead of Bootcamp.

I do 90%+ of everything in OS 10, but I have the ability to use Windows when needed without reaching for another machine.

My son bought a Macbook Air or something for college. First thing he did was load Windows Office on it! I just looked at him with “you are such an idiot” look. Although I guess the picture is good for watching Netflix, which is what it sounds like these college kids use it for most. And porn I suppose.
