Debbie Harry hasn’t always looked so well-kept. She was beautiful in her heyday and looks good now, but there was a decade or so that apparently was pretty rough, no idea why. I just recall being saddened when I saw her on some late night show, 10 maybe 15 years ago.

Then in 1981 MTV started and drew the line in the sand.
Music never recovered.

Two thoughts occur to me after scrolling through all of those pictures.
1 - I obviously didn’t listen to 80s New Wave. I don’t know 90% of what I bet are one hit wonders.
2 - If this is aging gracefully defined, I look fantastic.

John Taylor looks a little like Jim Carrey in that picture.

They have aged well. They look better now, IMO, than then.

Pete Burns from Dead or Alive has made some "changes".

there was a decade or so that apparently was pretty rough Drugs, sadly.

Wow, that was kind of depressing!
New Wave was the music of my youth. I grew up with that music. Still listen to First Wave on Sirius all of the time.
These people all look like my grandparents.
This is the way I prefer to remember Debbie Harry of Blondie...
