Generally, if you live in upstate NY....you worry more about how many feet of snow might occur this winter than the degree of enthusiasm for sexual assault violence. I’m not sure these students are from around the local area.

I take it this is the liberal definition of sexual violence, like declaring one man, one woman, in marriage, being the only sex that is God-blessed activity.
Dolan’s kept going to the left, so I don’t really know what they mean. Given it’s college students at a Catholic college, who the hell knows?

Uh, I think LeMoyne college kids (and the college’s English department) have bigger problems than doctrinal niceties. Their petition says not only that the Cardinal “does not, in any way, support sexual violence” but also that “With the growing attention toward sexual assault on the Le Moyne campus, students have felt that keeping Cardinal Dolan as commencement speaker completely opposes what we have advocated against.”
Yikes. I hope the parents aren’t paying a whole lot in tuition.

This is a smaller Jesuit College, but the students and faculty are trying hard to be o-so-hip, supporting gay marriage, abortion, and probably Elizabeth Warren, while they recommend Trayvon Martin for canonization.
Following Georgetown's lead. Catholic although these places may claim to be, they certainly aren't Christian any longer.

BTW, Dolan is a legendary speaker in his own mind and a great stand-up humorist, he thinks. He even does the annoying "stage Irishman" thing. Think of watching an old Dennis Day movie, but with a Dennis Day that goes about 300. Ho-frickin' Ho. BTW, he is also an obvious Democrat partisan.
On this score, the LeMoyne students have a good case for sending this bore packing and directing the honorarium elsewhere.

I would think that it would be entirely appropriate for an
authentically Catholic university to reject an appearance by Dolan. Because he is a wimp on abortion, supports sodomy, and is a socialist.
But that's not the case here, is it?
