This constant tinkering by the unholy alliance of the insurance companies and the government was purposely constructed to get us to where we are now. Like everything else, they broke it so they would be the only ones who could “fix” it, to only their benefit.

I needed a procedure that would have “cost” the insurance company about $50K. I did a little shopping (about 20 hours in total) and paid cash for it and everything totaled to $4.2K. Under an insurance plan my wife has for herself there would have been a $6K deductable.
