Not surprising. I figured, when George Eads left and then the series ended early to make room for CSI-Cyber, that it wouldn't be renewed. I am surprised though that Person of Interest was renewed. We enjoyed that show when it first started but, much like the Mentalist before it, Person of Interest has become bogged down in the ‘Samaritan’ story. Simply cannot follow the story.

Back in 1977, they had a coming of age show on TV called "James at 15".
It lasted only a couple seasons but I seem to remember it was pretty good. These days, it would be called "James at 53" - which makes me feel old.

Person of Interest has become bogged down in the Samaritan story. Simply cannot follow the story. Yes, I need stand-alone episodes because I can't remember those run-on story lines from week to week. Did you notice that the women all started talking with a whisper and acting just like Jim Caviezel's character? That was strange.
