Bar Codes, though invented in the late 40’s did not begin wide commercial use until the early 70’s. I remember how QUICKLY they became ubiquitous.

By 1981, I believe they were in use everywhere.

I don’t think this is authentic now, because with photoshop, anyone can make ANYTHING.

That doesn’t negate the fact that you-know-who is a “plant”.

I think every believes that now.

I was in college at that time, and my ID did not have a bar code. Had the old magnetic strip on the back like a credit card.
