Long ago, there was a mobster in my suburban neighborhood for a while. He was the top “numbers” guy in Philly/AC. No one cared. He moved back in to the city. He told a neighbor “I feel like a nobody out here.”

I have always rather enjoyed living in places where the "mafia" was strong.

Very little petty crime, safe streets, and everyone knew where to go to get things done. Drive them out and we get the urban ghettos we have now.
