Hmm, I’ve just added about a dozen things to my food bucket list! :-)
Always wanted to try Durian, but never got the chance. A local Asian market is now carrying them whole and frozen, though, so maybe I’ll try it this summer (outside, of course).
I don’t care for passion fruit. It’s too “perfume-y” for my taste. In that it tends to take over whatever its paired with. I once had a fresh tropical fruit salad in Hawaii that had a scoop of passion fruit ice/sherbet on top. The PF funk permeated everything.
A couple not listed, but I’ve tried are carambola/starfruit and prickly pear. Starfruit is okay. It reminds me of a bit of a tangy apple. Prickly pear is a lot of work to eat, but not bad at all, IMHO. Sioux City Sodas makes a really tasty prickly pear soda pop.
