With all the other typos, will the cost be $9 or $19? The base system is $9. Throw in another $10 - $15 for video support. If you have an embedded system that does not require a local video monitor, then the entire system costs $9. I have been thinking of using something similar to monitor the temperature in the freezer out in the garage that will notify me via email if it gets too warm.

There was an article in Linux Journal several months back where a guy did almost exactly that with a Rasberry Pi. Though, he was actually brewing beer and wanted to monitor the temps for that.
