Islamists are a lot of things, but they are not cowards.
They die for what they believe...and that isn't cowardice.

We consider courage a virtue, so we’re unwilling to recognize they have any virtues at all.
But I’m with you. Anyone willing to blow himself up for a cause may be many things, but he is most certainly not a coward.
This probably arises out of the idiotic notion that bullies are always cowards. They often are, but by no means always. For instance, the Waffen SS has been accused of many things, usually accurately, but never of cowardice.
The world would be a much safer place if bullies really were always cowards.
I prefer to call it sheer stupidity.
