Horse manure. The Army, and especially the combat arms branches within it, was never intended to be a grand sociology experiment to promote fairness to anyone. This isn't a damned collegiate sports team or a tv show reality talent contest. The Army's primary mission has always been up until recent history, to win this nation's wars. That meant killing people and breaking things. It's damned hard work. Ugly work. Deadly work. Enter females as infantry ground combatants into that equation and you have a recipe for disaster on many levels, not just because of a lack physical endurance either. Allowing females to fill assignments in combat arms units leads to a degradation of the Army to fulfill its ultimate roll in defending the nation.
Now, the leftist feminists have a firm grip on the DoD military leadership's balls and are calling the shots. This has NOTHING to do with "opportunity" or enhancing military combat readiness. It has everything to do with spreading a raging whacko leftist "feminist" agenda.
I agree. I was an infantry, airborne, SF officer. I can flat out state a woman in any rifle company whether US or INDIG would have hurt our combat efficiency plus morale. I damn did not want as the only other American to a platoon of 32 Montagnards -a damn woman. I had enough problems back in camp with the whores in Ban Me Thout.
