Not too long ago a Black Congresswoman argued that C-SPAN should stop playing Classical Music during pauses in coverage (like Congressional breaks) because “No one likes that $hit!”.

So funny. I was googling to try to find which congresswoman might have said that. What do I find? Your comment has already been picked up by google.

I couldn't find out who the congresswoman was though. Do you remember?

BTW I see more blacks in museums than I see in national parks such as Yosemite, Arches, Yellowstone, etc. Very few minorities there.

I just Googled it also and found that CSPAN is PROUD of its classical music selection and presentation.

I could not find the reference to the Congressman, but I swear I heard it on the radio. Like the other Congressman who said if we station more troops in Guam that it might tip over, or the one who said lets looks at the Mars rover film to see if we can spot the flag our astronauts planted there. Morons!
