Michelle Obama: Museums Don’t Make Young Minorities Feel Welcome

She doesn't like the idea that they have to pay?...it's not free? Michelle and Barry are fanning the flames of a once safe theater, they really do hate this nation don't they. Michael Ramirez gets it! Strom Thurmond got it, President Eisenhower got it, Ronald Reagen got it and many others who were roundly chastised by the Liberals/Socialist who want to keep the American Negro in chains on their vote getting plantations

I just Googled it also and found that CSPAN is PROUD of its classical music selection and presentation.

I could not find the reference to the Congressman, but I swear I heard it on the radio. Like the other Congressman who said if we station more troops in Guam that it might tip over, or the one who said lets looks at the Mars rover film to see if we can spot the flag our astronauts planted there. Morons!

No Michelle, museums, concerts halls expect certain poise and decorum. Attendees should exhibit respect, appreciation for the arts, for the artists, for others in attendance. These venues are supported by taxpayers' and enormously by charitable donations by patrons of the arts. Supported in order for everyone to increase their knowledge, to cultivate their appreciative world view are some reasons one visits these venues.

"Thugs in-training' of any age, any gender, any race are not appreciated. Disruption by any 'thugs' is not to be 'tolerated'. Perhaps Michelle should revisit the upbringing by the parent(s), and any culture that obviates respect. Appears Michelle once again negates the truth(s) before her. The victimization cloak is so easily worn.

Stop this constant 'bleating' of victimization. So many of us ordinary 'Joes' are simply tied of the woe-is-me, the man is against us, the givmedats mind set. Just take advantages of the many, various educational/employment opportunities this country offers, as many of poor non-English speaking immigrants have done for ages.

Mrs. Obama, "I guarantee you that right now, there are kids living less than a mile from here who would never in a million years dream that they would be welcome in this museum.”

Based on my experiences providing police services to a Brooklyn, NY Rap Hip Hop influenced community, I will guarantee Mrs. Obama there are hundreds of children living within 5 miles of the Whitney Museum who were irresponsibly introduced to a life by immature caregivers who fail to properly nurture and raise their children to be peaceful people.

In other words there are hundreds of victims of child abuse existing within a few miles of where my president's wife is speaking.

At this moment the focus should be on preventing this child abuse so children don't grow up like Tupac Shakur and Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar, writing rap lyrics describing the child abuse/neglect they suffered or rapping about harming their peaceful neighbors in order to survive.

In his 2015 Grammy award winning Rap Performance titled "I", Kendrick Lamar writes, "I've been dealing with depression ever since an adolescent."

Quoting a January 2011 LAWeekly interview with Kendrick:

"Lamar's parents moved from Chicago to Compton in 1984 with all of $500 in their pockets. "My mom's one of 13 siblings, and they all got six kids, and till I was 13 everybody was in Compton," he says.

"I'm 6 years old, seein' my uncles playing with shotguns, sellin' dope in front of the apartment. My moms and pops never said nothing, 'cause they were young and living wild, too. I got about 15 stories like 'Average Joe.'"
