I don’t think we will be able to clearly understand end times events until they are about to happen and we need to take action. The underlining concept we all should understand and agree on is “be ready” for when it happens.
There is an interesting prophecy from a German Rabbi, Judah ben Samuel. This prophecy was given from Elijah to the Rabbi concerning the fate of Jerusalem. In 1217 the Rabbi was told that six Jubilee periods and Jerusalem would be take over by the Ottoman Turks. The Turks would hold Jerusalem for eight Jubilee periods until they too would be expelled and Jerusalem made a 'no man's land' for one Jubilee period. Then the Jews would take Jerusalem and hold it for one Jubilee period, until they make a contract with someone who will offer Peace and safety but violate the compact and rain hell down on Jerusalem. Since a Jubilee period covers fifty years, one cane see that the Rabbi saw something very significant in 2017. I contend the Church will not be here when that begins in 2017, so the Rapture could happen from this moment until the contract is signed.
