The critically lambasted musical from composer Lucy Simon, lyricists Michael Korie and Amy Powers and book writer Michael Weller, will shutter Sunday, May 10 at the Shubert-owned Broadway Theatre, having played 26 preview and 23 regular performances. The show is staged by Tony winner Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys, The Whos Tommy) and choreographed by Kelly Devine.

I saw it in previews. It was a wanna-be Les Mis that fell far short.
Not a problem. The producers are already hard at work creating “Shindler’s List - The Musical!”
With the epic David Lean movie an all time great it seems weird to shrink the story onto a broadway stage.

It was a very bizarre production.
The cast had the audience sing Happy Birthday to the composer Lucy Simon,who was in the audience last nite. She’s the older sister of Carly Simon. I agree it was a strange production.
