The story SHE TOLD on a tv show several years ago was, She was called in and told she was being fired, BUT she could save her job if she “put out”.
To save her job, she did. Then she was fired anyway.
After my comment, I looked up a discussion about the incident on another website. Others have “concluded” that only GR could’ve done it, that he was giving her a gift and she rebuffed his advances (which then resulted in her firing). In her autobiography, she went into detail about it. She also wrote separately about GR, which she had much praise for him, but the conclusion on the part of those who read it is that if he was the culprit, she had forgiven him for it, and he had later reached out to her.
