LIS reboot: Yes, Lacey was cute, though Heather Graham was her usual smoking hotness (though she played it as a real bitch),

Actually, my personal fav of the ladies was Mimi Rogers. Sure she has 26 years on me, but that bodysuit did wonders for her....

but I couldn’t take Joey Tribiani as Major West. They managed to make all the characters generally unlikeable, in fact, that familial dysfunction likely would’ve been a disqualifier for sending them as a pioneer family into space.

Matt LeBlanc at least physically looked the part, and I thought he had his moments, but most of the time his line delivery was terrible. Heather Graham was cold as a fish. William Hurt had all the personality of an iceburg. Jack Johnson as Will...and people complained about Jake Lloyd? Whoever directed them did a poor job. And I think writer Akiva Goldsman was trying too hard to do a "serious" big budget flick after scripting the campfest of Batman and Robin. Probably should have sacked the writer, director, and half the cast, and you'd have had something a lot better.

It’s like I said, it had a good “look” to it, but the storyline and the family relationships were awful (and they relied on the latter as the central plot point, which was far afield from the original show). As for Mimi Rogers, she never did much for me. I always thought she was sort of a weird person (although Heather Graham is hot, as a person, she is rather insufferable).
