Sort of a hinky headline, but the homeowner's gun was stolen last year, recovered and returned. Homeowner used that same Glock to kill burglar who tried to kick his door in Wed.

I had a Colt Trooper in .22LR stolen from my pickup in Norfolk, VA around 1982. Maybe five years later while I was living in Kansas, my old boss called me and said the Norfolk cops had recovered my revolver.

Within 5 days I had it back and it was still like new. Several years later I loaned it to my Father telling him he could keep it as long as he lived. Within a year, he gave it to his Grandson.

I was just a little bit irritated but Daddy said it was a mistake and he would make it up to me. He never did and it is a bit late to tell my Nephew to give me my gun back.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t trying to abuse it! I guess it felt like breaking to me because I just saw the article on the KNS site.

My apologies. :-)

I love gun/family stories.

My dad left my brother one of his guns because he knew my brother was a notorious drunk who’d probably end up pawning it. Which is just what happened.(I love my brother, that’s just the facts of the matter.)

He left the rest to me to hold in trust for his only grandson, my son who was 5 at the time. But then my son grew up and wasn’t very interested in guns. So I still have them.

Two major pill mills in Knoxville were recently taken down by the Feds. I bet a ton of people are none sing there. I predict that the Mexicans will move in with Heroin to fill that opening.
