Our sun is one of the smallest and most stable stars there are.
My question is how has the sun continued to create the same level of energy for the millions, if not billions, of years that it's been in existence? Why hasn't it burned out?

My question is how has the sun continued to create the same level of energy for the millions, if not billions, of years that it's been in existence? Why hasn't it burned out? Fusion is supposed to answer that question, but I'm a young Earther. I believe the universe was created 6000 years ago.
