Yes, that’s right....Charles Krauthammer is an evil Jewish neo-con who means to establish a Marxist world order under the guise of conservatism. Sure. My advice to you....lay off the LSD.
Misnamed “conservatives”… also known as the GOPe. With their (also misnamed) “progressive” allies they are guardians of the 1%. Both favor top-down all powerful centralized government with strangling taxes and regulations on the common folk! When the GOP swept the 2014 midterms, sadly these people (Boehner, McConnell, etc.) were left in place. They and Obama have few disagreements. Think pro wrestling... it looks like a fight, sounds like a fight... but all is scripted and the outcome predetermined!
Jeb Bush (and also Hillary?) is their preferred candidate for 2016.
But some are right.
So these neo-cons sound like some kind of illuminati... Or even, Elders... Elders of or from some kind of ancient paradise. Or perhaps some kind of “sign.” Hey, Zion means ‘sign’ in Hebrew!

This article implies we don’t belong in the middle east and the writer is sadly mistaken. Power abhors a vacuum. If we abandon our allies over there, they will find new allies. I promise you, we won’t like their new friends (Russia and China). I agree we don’t stick our nose in every business, but we do need to get involved when our national security interests are at stake. We are in a new type of war since 9/11. Really, since the fall of the Shah of Iran. This is assymetrical warfare and most times will not involve large armies and big campaigns. If we don’t do this work, there will be many more 9/11’s.
It has also fallen to us (mostly) to keep the world’s waterways open and free to commerce. Most of our international trade is by ship. Would we rather go back to the days of our founders and just pay off rogue states to allow us to conduct trade near their waterways (Barbary Pirates)? For many years, this job was mostly tackled by the UK. After WWII it fell to us. Do we abandon this role? Get ready to pay a lot higher prices for those goods as the cost of doing business in the modern world increases with payoffs to jackboot thugs overseas so they don’t attack the worlds shipping.
Gaffney rocks. The hit piece forgot to mention though that Gaffney has been going after Grover Norquist for being a closet Muslim Brotherhood supporter. Yet another reason to be a Gaffney supporter.

Absolutely. It’s a very important aspect of our military preparedness.
But in today’s world, here’s what might be a more important reason for a strong U. S. Navy:
To deter a rogue atomic power, like Iran, from using a ship-based missile to launch a nuclear attack on the USA — especially a missile carrying an EMP weapon.

Why is this article just showing up now?
The present administration has been Bush-bashing, in true Soviet style, for the last 7 years.
I find this ‘discovered truth’, rather conveniently timed, since the on-air “krauthammer, you are a neocon .. No, i’m not!” recently, and the few days ago anti-Obama verbage spoken by G.W. Bush, former President.
As to the correctness of all the information, since there are a lot of hidden Internet links, I doubt it.
As to someone’s grand idea, that ‘the neocon’ still lives, and is oppressing the minds of those in fly-over America, they need another ex-lax tablet.
What about the larger point regarding neoconservatism and neoconservatives?
On the other hand, it’s clear that people like Kristol and Krauthammer speak with forked tongues.
