Etymology: Sang-froid comes from the French expression of the same spelling that literally means "cold blood." It entered English in the 1740s.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

If they want to ramp up that anti-religious rhetoric, they are in for a shock-they will also find that pope or not, Francis does not speak for most of us on important issues of faith-this is not the first time in history there has been a pope who is wrong-or even apostate.
I don’t see how anyone who has been taught at home or in parochial school about the teachings of the Church can agree with what Francis is pushing-most of it is actually harmful to humans, and goes against what I was taught about God...
I think it will be a joy to see, Armageddon or not-I say bring it on...

First full day of adventures. Errands, lunch out under an umbrella, Trader Joe’s. We are getting everything ready. Time flies. I had two Sangrias loaded with chopped apples...ate them all. ;^)

We stopped by a pizza place last night. One of our daughter’s first jobs was there for the same manager. He came by the table to say hello, then when we left he gave her a gift certificate for a pizza as a wedding gift. Nice man.
