I thought Halak played really well in his series. Our captain had surgery last week. They are just telling us now. He would have been out at least 6 weeks following the injury. I think hockey teams should be in charge of national security. No one can keep a secret like they can over player injuries.

There has been a very nice intersection between DC sports teams. Washington Wizards at game 7 wearing Caps jerseys, there have been Redskins attending, similarly attired, as well. I know various Caps have been to both Redskin and Wizards games, in their jerseys, also.
