This past weekend, while a reception was being held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Madison, Indiana for a lesbian wedding reception, the state organization was simultaneously gathering in Indianapolis to conduct a vote on how to treat the issue of renting their halls for gay weddings and receptions.
When Church Militant.com broke the news earlier this year about Madison Council #934 renting the hall for a lesbian reception, a firestorm broke out in the Catholic social media world. Thousands of faithful Catholics voiced their opposition, and many called the council headquarters insisting the lesbian reception be cancelled and any deposits returned.
The gay propaganda machine shifted into high gear and made the case a national one by posting the story on numerous homosexual-friendly sites. It was in the middle of this controversy that the Knights held their state meeting this past weekend while the lesbian reception was also going on in Madison.
In what many see as a complete collapse in the face of homosexual propaganda, the convention refused to back a resolution:
(1) clearly and publicly declaring support for the teachings of the Catholic Church on marriage as described in the Catechism of the Catholic Church;
(2) Adopt and administer a policy consistent with teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church to provide councils with guidance as regards the rental of or use of halls and other facilities owned by or affiliated with the Knights of Columbus; and
(3) Take all necessary legal steps to defend these policies in accordance with the free exercise of religion clause of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.
Given the options to adopt the resolution, reject the resolution, vote no action on the resolution or refer the matter to State Officers, the Knights voted "no action," thereby refusing to support Catholic teaching at a critical point in the national and state-wide debate.
Sodomite marriage became legal in Indiana last October when the US Supreme Court let stand a lower court ruling that held that a previous state ban on sodomite marriage violated the US Constitution.
The US Supreme Court is expected to announce its ruling on the constitutionality of sodomite marriage early this summer.
To recap, Church Militant.com has confirmed the much-protested lesbian wedding reception at the Madison Knights of Columbus (Council #934) Hall did occur this past Saturday as was previously planned.

My grandfather would not have believed this.
If there are any Knights out their that want to make their views known to Supreme HQ click copy and paste this link.
I E-mailed Supreme a complaint about Gov. Terry Mcauliffe being chosen as the Grand Marshall of a KOC council’s St Paddy Day Parade in Virginia. They got back to me and said it would be investigated.

Norte dame rushed out of its way to bestow a phony honorary doctorate on Obama. —whose one and only knob legislative act was a bill to legalize the murder of post- delivery living babies. Seems that the boozer ( oops, text editor did that Hoosier Church needs a whole lot of cleaning out!!
Can't think of anything that promotes desolation and barrenness than gay marriage.
As for the desecration of the sanctuary, that is obvious.
About the continual burnt offering, in every Catholic sanctuary there must be a sacred lit candle high up in a protected place or sconce that remains continually lit, if indeed the Blessed Sacrament is present in the tabernacle of the sanctuary (which it should be almost always).
All this taken together makes it pretty clear to me that Jesus, referring to this passage of Daniel, is referring to gay marriage.
After 1290 days, (according to Daniel) some cataclysm is supposed to happen to the Earth.
Maybe the clock is ticking now, I don't know what event marks the beginning of this measure of time.
They should have their charter revoked.
It doesn’t appear that the sodomite ceremony was committed in their church.
Having a celebration of the sodomite ceremony in a christian (supposedly) organization’s social hall is still a gravely scandalous thing.
This is why Supreme wants more Parish councils and fewer bars.
I was a college student and I do not drink or use illegal drugs. If a member had too much to drink, I would drive him home. Supreme Council wants to transition to parish based councils to have the pastor supervise the council, make it seem more pious and reign in fund-raising except as necessary to pay state and Supreme per capita levies for an ever burgeoning collection of causes that make Supreme able to be big heroes.
In my experience, parish K of C councils send in their per capita, submit unquestioningly to the bureaucracy and the pastor, have fewer and more humble ambitions and have fewer options than do community councils (Fr. McGivney's original concept) which can choose a chaplain to their liking and determine their own programming independently.
Undoubtedly there are parish based councils that do an exemplary job. It is just less likely. There is no question that any K of C Council is identified as a strictly Catholic and male institution. There is no excuse for any local council in Indiana or anywhere else to be compelled to rent to a lesbian wedding reception whether in a Catholic Church Hall or a council hall. First Amendment trumps this nonsense.
Therefore the local council in Indiana that rented its hall indeed ought to have its charter revoked. The leaders of the Indiana State Council should be called on the carpet for the failure to pass a resolution affirming the Catholicity of the Indiana K of C in this respect. Where are the Indiana bishops???? What role did Notre Shame University of Obozo Honorary Degree fame play in this fiasco?
Understood, but my point is that in the sanctuary of many mainstream Protestant Churches, this is happening. It is stunning.
