Like he wouldn't have survived if he didn't get a meal in four days? I can see having trouble if you don't get anything to drink in four days, but not eating? Some people deliberately fast longer than that.

Uh... more like to stave off his hunger. He was in no danger of not surviving if he didn’t get that fruit.
Reminds me of the South Park episode where they are trapped in the gym for a few hours and Mr. Garrison is complaining about being super-hungry and suggests that they’ll have to start eating people soon.
He survived 4 days on nothing but fresh fruit and using porta potties at the local school, and we don’t know if he had any money for other food or not according to the story.
