BRITISH AND AMERICAN ELECTIONS: NIGEL FARAGE GETS IT AND HIS IMITATOR IN THE PANTSUIT DOES TOO
4/24/2015 | Self

"I'M PATRIOTIC, I BELIEVE IN THIS COUNTRY, I BELIEVE IN THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY, I BELIEVE WE'D BE SO MUCH BETTER IF WE GOVERNED OURSELVES, CONTROLLED OUR BORDERS AND GAVE ORDINARY WORKERS A CHANCE AGAINST THE TAKEOVER OF THE GIANT CORPORATE COMPANIES WHO'VE NOW BASICALLY TAKEN OVER OUR POLITICAL PARTIES...."

UNITED KINGDOM INDEPENDENCE PARTY LEADER NIGEL FARAGE CLOSING STATEMENT OPPOSITION DEBATE APRIL 16, 2015

Ted Cruz is getting my money, but Nigel Farage has my heart.

He tells the truth about how the system is working in the UK and the US right now and identifies with the little people against the powerful ones who control the politicians leaving them with little or no say and limited economic power.

When the elite corporate executives spoke last month, Republican politicians caved on religious freedom in Indiana and Arkansas, living proof of what the true situation is.

I saw some information lately and let me summarize, sales down 6 percent, profits up 16 percent.

How does that work? It works when you cut wages 35 percent and supply costs by 10 percent.

The big companies can suddenly cut hours or maybe pay with cheap workers, then go on to squeeze their smaller supplier companies and force them to squeeze the costs out of their workforce and so on.

This kind of pressurized situation also pushes the smaller companies to look for cheap labor from illegal immigrants as well.

There's plenty of "employment" in the US or UK but what kind of employment is it?

Keep it under 30 hours, 18 hours this week, 32 next week, 24 hours the week after that but keep the average under 30. Isn't it great they are paying me 9 or 10 dollars an hour right now but oops what's the health insurance bill under that "Affordable Care Act"?

The big hospitals and insurance companies need you to pay those big bills to bail out costs from a health care system treating people who came here illegally and didn't have health insurance.

Folks in the UK have "low unemployment" with great jobs like the "no-hour contract" ones. For example, that's when you're hired to help clean up a stadium but if the crowd isn't big for the day's match, you get sent home with no hours of work and no pay.

I saw the end of a soccer match between Newcastle and Tottenham last Sunday on CNBC with the commentators noting many empty seats in the stadium. Heck, with no-hours jobs how can you afford to pay for a ticket to the match.

Hillary Clinton's hanging out with 'little people' and focusing on 'small contributors' is a smart move because its the little people that are taking the hits in our 'improved economy'.

Get angry and enraged by the RINOstream media out there over Hillary, but perhaps take some time out to think about her tactics.

Bill Clinton knew how to play the little guy populist card in Arkansas and now its Hillary's turn.

Are the Republicans taking notes.

Even more important than that are there any Republicans out there or perhaps a new political party ready to carry the mantle that Nigel Farage is in the UK right now?

I'm for Ted Cruz but I'm also looking for a sober and sane alternative to the 95 percent not conservative Republican Party.

“...sales down 6 percent, profits up 16 percent.”

Can you share your source?

Some breaking news out of the UK today.

HSBC says it considering moving its HQ out of the UK because of hostility to the EU that’s part of the political campaign with Cameron’s Conservatives talking about a referendum or negotiated changes to the UK’s EU relationship.

Nigel Farage and UKIP say flat out get out of the EU so the UK can get out from immigration rules and control its sovereign borders.

CORPORATE INTIMIDATION BEFORE AN ELECTION FROM THE BANKING INDUSTRY....SEE HOW THE REAL WORLD WORKS.....THEY ARE TRYING TO CONTROL THE VOTE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UK BY SCARING THEM.

Within the Fortune 500 or Forbes 400. I won’t narrow it any further.

Cruz is my guy. Walker seems like an acceptable alternative to me, IMO. He may be a bit squishy on social issues, but seems to get it on immigration at least. I really don’t have have to make much of a choice in Virginia because it will either be decided or be down to 2 by the time I vote.

Maybe they ought to move to Hong Kong or Shanghai.

This sort of thing is what gave us labor unions.

Last month I saw the CEO of Apple (Tim Cook) and others wipe their ***es with the First Amendment and intimidate the Republican governors and legislatures into backing down on Constitutional protection for religious people.

The corporate elites want to create a world economy with cheap labor crossing borders and so on, supernational systems of control like the EU.

I don’t want labor union control, but I also don’t want corporatist elites running the show either.

How about “We the people” for a change........

Isn’t HSBC being investigated for massive corruption? Are you sure this isn’t why they want to move their HQ?

I think the international labor agreement the Sultan wants includes “free movement of labor” i.e. unrestricted immigration.

The regulatory issues are out there but the election timing and their comments about hostility to the EU in the UK led to my reaction.

You and I are in the same ethical/cultural conundrum. I’ve gone on record as saying I HATE labor unions but understand why they came into existence and that they had their time and place.

I’m concerned that that time and place may be coming again. But I’m not say it HAS come or even WILL come.

But the bottom line is that I moved from my 45 year home to central, Rural KY in 2011 for a REASON! And part of that reason is my tag line, which I adhere to now more than ever.
