You mean San Mateo County? Santa Clara County is roughly 1/3 white, 1/3 Asian, 1/3 Hispanic, with 2% or less black.
I believe so. It has a very high concentration of Homosexuals, over 4%, more than double the national average.
I think SF could benefit from such a progressive program.
Maybe some wealthy conservative who needs tax writeoffs from real estate rental losses could do it. Watch liberal; heads explode!
The most strident of liberals usually don't live anyplace near where their boneheaded policies cause the most damage.
All of the white liberals I know in California live as far away from Amish people as possible. The white liberals in California live in suburbs near the coast. If they cannot afford living on the west side they live far to the east of people of color. White liberals want their kids to grow up in lily white communities.

(thought, you can visit the Bay Area and see a great deal of diversity in most of it, especially if your vista includes at least a 5 or 10 mile frame of reference....allowing for a couple of “mostly-ghetto” localities like most of Oakland and Richmond for black people and Marin for white people, and so forth, but just go ten miles and you get super-diversity entoto).
