I am waiting to Primatene Mist to be re-released. Meddling government had it banned for CFC’s. They have supposedly submitted a new product for approval. It worked better than any prescription crap and lasted longer.

Mine was seemingly related to my acid-reflux. Now that Obamacare has forced my insurance to no longer cover my inhaler, I really do suffer with it. The powder based inhalers do not work for me due to the way my throat is constructed - too large of a uvula for the powder to pass.

They came out with
Asthmanefrin a couple years back, I used it and it worked OK, but like you, I preferred Primatine. Why they couldn't just use the propellant they do in inhalers now I don't know. Anyways, it was touted on the package as a replacement for Primatine Mist. You could use it in a nebulizer or buy a battery-powered inhaler, but the portable looked like a PITA, I just used the neb. Just some info for you...

It worked better than any prescription crap and lasted longer.For some people it was the only thing that worked. Knew a guy in his 80s that Primatene kept on his feet and alive. I used to hunt the drug stores for him in a 50 mile radius.
