He talked about his love for the '86 Mets and all the players he liked. They were all black. Didn't that Mets team have some pretty good white players?
When I was growing up as a Milwaukee Braves fan, my hero was Hank Aaron. Yeah, a white kid with a black player as his idol. How about that. You can bet many white kids had black stars like Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Frank Robinson, Ernie Banks, etal as their sports heroes.
From his numerous slams at white people Rock, like many black comedians and social analysts, is quite clueless about his own racist attitudes. Rock is wrong...baseball doesn't need black "fans" like him. It just needs more fans.
