It is first and foremost the job of opposition political parties and candidates to vet their opponents. Leaving that job to the liberal mainstream media is always a mistake. If the opposition uncovers dirt and scandal, the mainstream media will cover it if for no other reason than tto make more advertising money off the ratings.

Even when the opposition vets their opponents and finds something out, how are they going to get that information out there? The media, and when the media is in the pocket of one particular candidate that information will not be released, and people can only find it online..unfortunately most people still watch the Nightly News and get the left wing slant, so anything that makes the left look bad or a particular left wing candidate look bad, that info is as good as gone
