Ted Cruz rally in Spartanburg, SC
Just tried that and got a message that the phone may be locked. How do I unlock it?
Did you bang it against the granite counter top a couple of times? Sometimes that works. You have to hit it hard.
Have you done regular backups with iTunes on your computer ... prior to this? If so, then do your backup and it will be saved.
If not, then here is an Apple Support document on the issue ...
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC

You can also walk in to an Apple Dtore and get some help from the Genous bar ... you may have to sign up online before going in.

OR ... you can contact Apple Support ...

“cut and paste”
Never cut and paste. COPY and paste. You can delete the original AFTER you see it has successfully been copied over. Rarely is there a problem with cut and paste, however . . .
Just tried that and got a message that the phone may be locked. How do I unlock it?Make sure the iPhone is NOT plugged in to the computer.
Then, turn on the iPhone, and unlock it (either enter your PIN, or use the fingerprint scanner, whatever you normally do to use the phone).
Then plug it in to the computer. You may get a prompt on the phone to trust or not trust the computer. Make sure to select "Trust".
If you got the trust/not trust question, you may have to repeat the entire process above. This would only be the first time you've plugged the phone in to the computer.
After that, you should be able to access the files in your DCIM directory on the iPhone from the computer.
Did you try double-clicking on that DCIM folder? Just wondering, sometimes there’s no arrow to the left of it when I plug my camera’s SDHC card into the computer. Just saying... :)
That’s what she said...badda boom!!
Wire connect via iTunes sync? 45 how many gigs?
don’t you have iTunes, likely that’s the only way to move it other then icloud
