Our Miss Brooks is always fun...then Suspense!...some sci-fi with X Minus One...and Lux!

Finally, we have a "Suspense" and an "X Minus One." We love the mysteries and creepier shows. We have conflicting titles on the "Dragnet" show. It's either "Big Bop," according to WAMU, or "Big Bob," according to the Index. And, the "Lux" has an unusual description of the show as, "A portrait in bitchiness..."

7:00 Pm Eastern War Time Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. September 29, 1957. CBS net origination, AFRTS rebroadcast. "The Doubtful Dairy Matter." A silo burns on the farm of an important dairyman...a guy with pull! Bob Bailey, Paul Dubov, Will Wright, Harry Bartell, Parley Baer, John Dehner, Forrest Lewis, Dan Cubberly (announcer), Jack Johnstone (writer, producer, director). 25:47. Audio condition: Very good to excellent. Complete.

7:30 Dragnet. September 1, 1953. Program #211. NBC net. "The Big Bob." Commercials deleted. A robber has held up a check cashing service of $1500. After several more robberies, one of his victims is killed during the crime. The program closing has been deleted after the credits. The evidence of an Indian uprising points to them as the robbers of a Fox Clan totem. The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on February 8, 1958. The system cue has been deleted.
