But accusations of hypocrisy have also dogged Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, 40, with detractors accusing him of not practicing what he preaches.
Now with RadarOnline reporting Friday that he took six private jet flights in just six weeks last year, it may prove hard for the actor to justify the need to avail himself of more than $200,000 worth of private travel between LA and New York in such a short period of time.

I don’t know all the stats. I would have to ask Mr. Mercat. But he drives a 12 year old van which was efficient at the time he bought it. I drive a 8 year old Miata which gets great mileage. We put 8K miles this year on an RV that (wait for it) gets 18 miles to the gallon. My former office mate is a big lib and buys the biggest honking SUV he can afford every two or three years. One for him and one for his wife. A friend of mine is proud that he drives a hybrid but won’t acknowledge that the electric grid is powered by coal.
I hate Leonardo de Crapio and all the other eco-hypocrites.
Decrapio is doing this and his movie for the tax write offs.
Leo is not the first enviro hypocrite, and not even the dumbest either as long as there is an Al Gore.
