Loved it! Your description of the First Couple reminds me of an old limerick:

There once was a queer from Khartoum
Who took a lesbian up to his room
They argued all night
About who had the right
To do what and with which and to whom

First couple? I left that open to interpretation. Is it Reggie Love or MO he sashays for? I am not sure I really want to know that answer, but I do wonder. When my stomach can handle it.

I thought that said “Latvian worship” and I was thinking of George Constanza.

**************

Father-priest 2: Is there one aspect of the faith that you find particularly attractive?

George: (he thinks) I think the hats. The hat convey that solemn religious look you want in a faith. Very pious.

In today’s economy, all of your cash shashay’s right out of your pocket ... And into the IRS’s.

A revamp of the tax code would get this country going in the right direction. That, and a new, conservative president. And the only way we’ll get the former is with the latter.

My daughter in law had a horse she’d bred named Cachet that she was training for great things. Unfortunately she (the horse) dropped dead of an aneurism at the end of a lesson. Everybody was heartbroken.

The horse, which was a cross of a thoroughbred retired race horse and a Swedish Warmblood, had an unusual blaze that covered one eye and proceeded down the side of the face (sort of like Phantom of the Opera) and then continued down one leg. Hence, the name. The vet who delivered that foal said, “You’ll recocegnize this horse wherever she goes.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I figure the one place it is appropriate for a bunch of ladies to get together and tell birthing stories would be at a baby shower.

http://www.creators.com/advice/annies-mailbox.html

Dear Annie: I dread going to my niece’s first baby shower. At the last one I went to that included our family, there were older mothers who proceeded to tell horror stories about labor and delivery.

No one needs to hear the in-depth details of their birth process, and especially not a first-time mother.
Some people speak before they think. How can I politely get them to shut up? — Dreading Showers

maybe the delicate flower should just send and gift and not attend if she can’t handle it! good grief! of course people are going to talk about their own experiences at a baby shower and I can’t imagine what sort of experience someone could have that would be so horrified by!

Obama wants to put his cachet
On a deal-any deal-with Iran-
Desperate to save his legacy
He will do anything he can

Never mind who gets sold out
Israel and all of us as well-
If congress doesn’t like it
They can go straight to hell

He’s digging himself a trench
With all these lies and barter
By 2016 he will surely be seen
As more of a coward than Carter...

LOL-I hope that woman never becomes pregnant-I agree that the fragile blossom should stay away-unless she wants to be the source of amusement for all the women there. I’ve never known a pregnant woman who has not heard about the experiences of her own mother, aunts and friends since she first became aware she was with child.
