I used to have a cat named Vinny.

I had a bed with a low headboard and above just to the left was a light switch. It was the kind that you push up and down to turn off/on the light.

My cat stood on his hind feet and put his front paws on the headboard a lot, for what reason I have no idea, so one day I took his paw closest to the light and pulled the switch down, shutting off the light. The pushed his paw up turning on the light. He let me do this so I did it a few times saying, ‘see, you can do the light’:)

So, that night I went to sleep, and about 3am on comes the light. I turn, see Vinny with his paw on the light.

He then starts meowing for cat food.
