I have worked during my professional career in some hospitals.
Just saying, some hospital cafeteria food is not exactly healthy in the way this writer would like to see. Not sure fast food outlets are providing a worse quality of food than would otherwise be sold there.
The hospital is making some money by leasing space to fast food companies. Should they not do so? Many hospitals are in financial trouble and need all the revenue they can get.
Personally, I don’t care. I find it kind of amusing when I see a McD’s in a hospital, but, as long as it’s not your primary source of food for an extended period, it’s not really hurting anyone.
I agree with you about the hospital food. Boiled chicken and tapioca (fresh out of some formaldehyde-laced packaging) isn’t going to be any better for you than McD’s.

If hospitals could shake down the countries of origin for all the care their provide THEIR citizens for FREE then they wouldn’t need to open a McDonalds in it....
Of course the libs now whine about Ronald McDonalds setting up shop inthe lobby while Juan-ald McDiaz-alds clog up the ER for free (to them) healthcare that we all pay for and the hospital has to EAT a lot fo the cost....
