I really used to like A Prairie Home Companion. I even attended a live show when he came to Spokane in 1998.
However, in 2009, he made a comment in an op-ed in the Chicago Tribune that the only healthcare Republicans should get is “aspirin and hand sanitizer” and that if it’s anything more complicated, they should die.
After that, I completely quit listening to the show. If the guy is going to act like a mean old bastard and diss me and mine, he can go to Hell and take his nasty-assed show with him.
PBS has a showman called Keillor
Whose radio raconteurs reel her
In like a fish
An easly caught dish
She was hooked when he claimed he could heal her
(No idea what this means but there you have it)
Here with rich and ridiculous display
the politician’s corpse was laid away.
Though many acquaintances jeered and slanged
I wept, for I had hoped to see him hanged.
Lake Woeisme—where the women smell strong, the men like to look at one another and every child receives a trophy for participating.
I used to like to listen to Garrison Keillor. But then he had to get all political. Have not heard him in years.
Paid a quarter to.....um........
Hey, qot a quarter? Heh heheheheh.....
