$60 for three hours seems extremely reasonable and I don't see building a business around it as being any different than marketing to any other hobby.

To me, the California mentality would be if he were charging $300 for three hours and people were in line to pay it.

Now the New York mentality on the other hand is clearly on display when you see a growing market in "adult day care" centers where adults are paying $300 to $1000 to play with clay and have "nap time" to relieve stress.
