“Muslims claim all sorts of impossible things to be true.”
Correct. Starting with the koran.

Looks like he made buys on both AD and KJ.

I like Don Rickles as Christ, Al Franken as Pilate, Foster Brooks as Herod, and Dolly Parton as Mary Magdalen.

Fox and Friends were talking about it I think almost every of their 4 hours this a.m. They showed clips ( or maybe almost all of it), so for those that didn’t watch either of the movies,he got some free advertising, too :-)

I watched KJ when it premiered and didn’t notice any Cruz commercials. But it was playing on FNC last night. Maybe the ad buys were there.

No. I heard BOR say it once when he first wrote KJ, before publication. I bought the book when it first came out based on what he said it is and his inspiration.

I guess casting a Muslim as the founder of Christianity is a popular notion these days. Apparently Chrislam is the new religion of the times.

Muslims claim all sorts of impossible things to be true.

You mean like being an important part of American history?

If you believe in the truth of scripture, don’t bother watching this. It is almost entirely a work of fiction.

it was never intended to be biblicly accurate...it was more of a historical version of what happened written by neutral observers....not those interested in Christ's religious aspect....I thought that it was very well done, probably quite accurate from that point of view, VERY well cast and certainly didn't harm Christianity in any way

Watched it, was not impressed at all. It could not hold a candle to the Passion.

It was NEVER intended to be compared to the Passion and the author said so....It was supposed to be historical rather than religious in aspect.

Pretend that it waas written, at the time, by a historian who had no interest in religion whatsoever....I thought that it was VERY well dome.

What did the Holy Spirit tell him? “Bill, I need you to retell the gospel and leave me out of it. Its OK if you rearrange things and add stuff and leave out important things. Just make sure that it fits with the Koran version, mm’kay

Probably the reason that you are NOT a professional critic...good grief...that was PATHETIC.

True, but when have muslims based any of their beliefs on reality?

Don’t kid yourself. It wasn’t even historically accurate. There is plenty of contemporary non biblical evidence of Jesus existence and that he was a miracle worker. When you omit that you presenting a fictional version of Jesus. A Jesus who wasn’t sure who he was or what he was supposed to do. A guy who went around saying some unconventional things but otherwise offering no real reason to accept him as the Messiah. That guy wasn’t someone who would inspire his followers to give up their lives to proclaim the gospel
