I was watching “Dr. No” a day or two ago. I happened to notice a 747. That movie had to have been made in the early 60s.
Those planes have been around forever.

Dr. No - 1962
B-747 - First flight 1969. Entered service, January 1970.
The biggest plane of that era would probably be the VC-10, but it didn’t have its first flight until the end of June, 1962.

OK something is wrong here. In the scene where Goldfinger is going to Europe by airplane and James Bond is waiting at the airport, there is definitely a jumbo jet with that big lump in front.
Is there another jumbo which looks like that?

There was a jumbo jet pictured. I know because I was wondering how he got that Rolls Royce to Europe. My first thought is maybe that jumbo jet could hold it then I realized it would not have been shipped on a passenger plane.
