I hope he’s right, I hope that Pope Frank doesn’t jump the rails. xshub, ever the cynic, is sure he will be performing gay marriages in a Catholic church, and he thinks that is the goal of the gay movement, to have ceremonies in a Catholic church. Has to be Catholic, bc most other religions have some churches who will permit it.

I would need to hear this from a priest who was versed in church history and theology before I would believe it. I am sure it is a comfort to your MIL to have such a belief, but that doesn’t make it legit.

LMAO I hear ya.
I will say this in her defense, she knows the Catholic church inside out and never once has she said anything contradictory. She has said this same thing for decades, so it’s not her old age talking. Her IQ is out of sight high, higher than her brilliant son, the college professor at Northwestern, much to his chagrin. So, I will tend to believe her on this.
