I give my wife extra hugs, they make me appreciate her so much more.

Here's what happened last week: I'm talking with a couple of women in the lunch room, and one praised me for a salad I brought to lunch. I said I needed to get back to eating right and lose a few pounds.

When the other woman said, "you're right, it's almost time for swimsuit season. My light hearted reply was "you're right, last time at the beach, I was called Moby Dick."

SHE GLARED AT ME!! I quickly added, "I'm referring to the great white whale in the Herman Melville novel, Moby Dick."

She said, "oh..." She'd never heard of the book, and first thought I was referring to, ahem, something else.
